I felt I was taking a chance to purchase such an inexpensive teapot, but it turned out to be wonderful. We've used it pretty heavily each day for a week since it arrived; it does not dribble while pouring, keeps tea hot for a long time and holds more than enough tea to fill 4, 6oz teacups or 2 large mugs. Works well with the large Finum Brewing Basket (my favorite infuser). Plus, the manufacturer packaging was very secure against breakage - that's not my typical experience so I find this fact noteworthy. I've found no defects, cracks or crazing of the glaze. Another thing I'll point out is the color is a few shades lighter than the dark burgundy shown in the photo. That doesn't bother me, but if you want a deep, dark burgundy, this may disappoint. Overall, it's a nice, well-made teapot and a great find for $9.95.
