Nice Contemporary Stye Teapot Aug 02, 2009
By Melissa L. Epstein This teapot has great shape & style. It holds enough for several big mugs or numerous cups of tea and keeps the tea very warm for quite a while. Be careful though, the ball on top of the lid gets finger-burning hot. Use a hot pad or cloth if you want to remove the steeping basket or teabags. Also, when tipping the pot high to drain that last cup, there can be slight leakage from the rim of the lid, but most importantly, the lid stays tight - it doesn't fall open. Overall, this is a really nice teapot.
tea pot isn't fragile. May 19, 2012
By David J. Webb I have been using this teapot for about a year now. It is a great little teapot. It is easy to clean and it has a mesh container for tea bags. Normally, I run it through the dishwasher about once a week as well. The mesh filter does come clean easily and the size is about right for me. Thinking about getting another as a spare.
6 Cup Stainless Aug 31, 2011
By Derr Teapot seems perfect. Might mod it to have a wood nub on top cause, of course, it's hot to the touch. I would recommend this pot to sit on the desk of anybody in the CIA that needs to see behind them and has their back to a door.
In love Aug 30, 2011
By TGK I'm in love with my new pot. The design is outstanding to say the least. The way the tea pours is wonderful, It's a sturdy design and doesn't feel flimsy at all. The top is secure and hold a great amount or tea and stays hot long enough to finish off the whole thing. The price and shipping sealed the deal.
Made in China but... Apr 12, 2011
By SHB ...really well made and stylish. Generous infuser basket allows optimum steeping in a spherical design. Does not dribble and first pot was fantastic. We drink a lot of tea and the true 6 cup capicity bears this out. Keeps tea fairly hot but not as long a cast iron design, but we always decant the tea into a thermal pot anyway.
PRODUCT UPDATE 2/17/12: This being stainless steel I wouldn't expect any corrosive problems to emerge but sure enough, a pinhole developed 2/3 up from the bottom producing a leak. Further inspection of the interior shows other spots showing up. I though maybe it was stainless plate and checked it with a magnet. No ferrous qualities. Going to spot-mig the hole and have ordered a superior cast iron enamel pot. Tea tastes better anyway.
