A touch of Olde Worlde sophistication Aug 28, 2008
By Twal Many of my American friends are rightly proud of their country's innumerable contributions to global progress. However, when it comes to something requiring a touch of style and sophistication, you really need to look elsewhere.
The colour television, atom bomb and motor car are all very well but what, I hear you ask, about a solution to the tricky dinner party etiquette associated with lemon squeezing. Well friends, trust the British to solve that knotty conundrum...with zest!
This marvellous item, hand-crafted by Cornish dwarves, means that no self-respecting hostess need worry about citrus calamities when entertaining the in-laws. It is a perfect blend of form and function.
Be Polite at the Table Nov 08, 2010
By John My wife loves to make her own fresh lemonade when we dine out if she cannot find another drink to her liking. She asks for lemons and she squeezes them into her water glass, adds a sweetener and is happy as can be. Well, before we had this lemon squeezer, some of us at the table were not so glad about the process. Regardless of how careful one is when squeezing lemons without this device it was always a mess with juice flying all over the place. Now we can sit and relax as she makes her lemonade without fear of temporary juice blindness. She carries the squeezer in a small cloth pull string bag to keep it clean in her purse and she washes it with water and cleans it with napkins after its use. If you wish to have civility at the table, I recommend you consider this device.

Definitely an Amazon Oddity Aug 11, 2007
By Sarah Consider buying this as a trinket, not as a functional piece of equipment. The citric acids in lemon juice will erode the gold-plating before your eyes.
