Remember Marathon bars? Sep 22, 2007
By amstein93 for those of who remember Marathon bars in the 70's.. this is the closest thing to having that candy bar back again. It's a great choco/caramel treat and I highly recommend it, especially if you remember and miss the other one!!

childhood memories Feb 03, 2011
By hodgee I've been asking people for years if they remembered the braided chocolate covered candy bar we used to have back in the 70's and 80's? Like myself, everyone could remember the bar itself, but no one had seen one in years or could remember the their name. So I asked a search engine about them and it answered my question and refered me to Amazon, where I could purchace the bars under the name "Curly Wurley". I was very pleased to see that although the "Marathon Bar" had not been produced here in the United States in almost 30 years, I was still able to purchase them under a different name from the good folks at Amazon, and they are delicious, just as I remember from my childhood...YUMMY!! Thank you Amazon!

Like A Marathon Bar From My Childhood Sep 21, 2010
By melissa stinson This brought back memories of my childhood and the old Marathon candy bars I used to get as a kid. These actually taste better!
Terrific Jan 16, 2012
By Anna Thornton Wow, I have always thought of the marathon bars I would eat when I was younger. This is as close as it gets. They were delicious.
Mmmmm....chocolate and caramel Jan 07, 2012

I've had these in the freezer for about a year and I'm more protective of them than the Girl Scout cookies. Don't mess with my Curly Wurlys.
If you remember Marathon bars, these are the same product: a caramel braid covered in chocolate. Simple and delicious.
