We had a gooseberry bush when I was a young child. We moved when I was eight, and I had trouble finding any since then until I found this available at Amazon. It is a somewhat expensive gourmet product imported from the UK. It contains gooseberries and sugar (the berries by themselves would be quite sour). It has a distinctive flavor that I personally think is very good. It is something to purchase if you are a connoisseur wanting to try something different, or if you want something unique to use as a gift.
I would note that gooseberries are supposed to help burn off belly fat. That is somewhat offset by the sugar content.
